Enhance Fitness

Enhance Fitness is a proven community-based senior fitness and arthritis management program. It helps older adults become more active, energized, and empowered for independent living. Participants are meant to attend all 3 classes each week to achieve the evidence-based results that have been proven by consistent involvement in the program which has been nationally recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, US Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, and the National Council on Aging.

Join us for Enhance Fitness, a proven senior fitness and arthritis management program that improves your endurance, strength, balance and flexibility. It reduces your arthritis symptoms with safe, low impact exercises led by certified instructors in a relaxed atmosphere that promotes fun, laughter, friendship and smiles. Of all Enhance Fitness’ multiple benefits though, the one that matters most is that it’s a great time.

When is Enhance Fitness?

Enhance Fitness is a 16 week class held in the Tranquility room on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30-10:30am. 

Class Outline

Exercise will focus on cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance which can help reduce the severity of arthritis symptoms. Enhance Fitness will consists of: Warm up- 5 min, Cardio- 20 min, Cool down- 5 min, Strength training- 20 min, Stretching- 10 min. Enhance Fitness has an atmosphere that encourages social interaction, which is a vital part of health and well-being for older adults
