Membership Rates (effective January 1, 2025)
First Year Family (claimed on taxes and live at the same residence):
$65.27 + $4.73 (tax) = $70.00/month
$783.24 + $56.78 (tax) = $840.02/annual

First Year Couple (two adults living at same residence; claimed on taxes):

Call the YMCA (419-739-9622) for discounts and membership specials. All prices based on 12-month contract. Savings accounts, checking accounts and credit cards (Mastercard/Visa, American Express, and Discover) are acceptable for drafted payment.
Joiner Fee
All new members are charged a joiner fee, which the Y uses to help fund major maintenance and building repairs. A new member can pay the joiner fee upfront, or using our EZ Pay option, can pay the joiner fee over 12 months. If a member allows his/her membership to lapse for more than 30 days, the member will be charged the joiner fee upon reinstatement.

Military Discounts
The Wapakoneta Family YMCA offers several options for our military families. Please call the YMCA for help finding the best option for you.
Armed Services YMCA Membership
The Armed Services branch of the YMCA can grant free memberships to families of deployed soldiers. Please reference here for qualifications.
Active Duty Military (including Reserve and Guard)
A discount of 15% is extended to those who are enrolled in the military and are Head of Household (an adult on the membership). Please bring proof of your status at time of registration.
Delayed Entry/Boot Camp
If you are preparing for Boot Camp and/or part of the Delayed Entry program you are welcome to use the YMCA to prepare yourself free of charge. Proper paperwork must be presented at time of registration.
Partners in Healthy Living
The Y offers a Partner in Healthy Living Program that your company may be eligible for. Through the program, your employees can receive a discount on a Y membership.

The Wapakoneta Family YMCA participates in Nationwide Reciprocity! Your membership is good at more than 2,500 locations around the United States. Ask for the Courtesy Counter for more information!

Not ready to join? Try our Access Membership!
An access membership allows you to purchase classes or programs ala carte. For just $25 (single) or $50 (family) for the year you can sign up and pay for just the programs you are interested in. With the Access Membership, you are also welcome to walk the track ($2.00 per visit) or swim laps ($5.00 per visit)
