Fitness Center / Free Weight Room Orientation
Let the YMCA staff show you how to correctly use
the cardiovascular equipment and weight equipment in
the Fitness Center and the Free Weight Room.
Orientations are available to members 16 and over at
no cost. Orientations for the Fitness Center and Free
Weight Room must be scheduled separately. Please
contact the Courtesy Counter for an appointment. Teens 13 - 15 may utilize the Fitness Center and
Free Weight Room after successful completion of the
Teen Weight Training Course (see below for more
information).
Teen Weight Training
This new course is required for teens 13 - 15
years old who want to have access to the Fitness
Center and Free Weight Room. Our newly structured
course is designed to give a more comprehensive and
informative training for 13 - 15 year olds. Teens
will learn correct use of equipment, rules, strength
training principles and more. Time is spent
learning the equipment in the Fitness Center and
Free Weight Room. The entire course is
mandatory for a teen to utilize either room.
Pre-registration is required and payment is due upon
registration. Contact the Courtesy Counter for
dates and times, and to register. Class size
is limited.
Fee: $11.00 for Members Only
Personal Training
Achieve your fitness potential with one-on-one
instruction from one of our certified personal
trainers. You will receive a 6-week program
tailored to meet your goals.
Member Fees:

* Please note:
One hour of personal training
includes a 30-minute consultation with a YMCA
Personal Trainer and a workout program. No
instruction is given in the Fitness Center. The
YMCA strongly urges purchasing 3-10 hours of personal
training for best results.
Personal Fitness Assessment
An opportunity to evaluate your current level of
physical fitness. Resting heart rate, blood
pressure, body composition, cardio respiratory
fitness, and flexibility are tested. You will
receive a computerized report. Call (419)-739-9622

YMCA Quick Fit
This total body circuit
workout will
get you in and out of the YMCA in 35 minutes or
less! Feel stronger, less stressed and energized with
this program designed to strengthen all the major
muscle groups while burning calories. Quickfit is
not a class... simply come in when you have time and
complete the circuit. See the flyer in the Fitness
Center or ask the Courtesy Counter for more details.
